While the StarCityGames.com Open Series continues to get bigger, our primary focus has always been on making the StarCityGames.com Open Series better and coming up with cool, unique, and exclusive things that we can give participants for free, just for playing. It's been on our “to do” list for quite some time. While we obviously can’t produce our own exclusive Magic: The Gathering promotional cards, what we can do is produce our own exclusive StarCityGames.com promotional cards…

So we’ve done exactly that…times five!

Starting in 2013, every player who enters a StarCityGames.com Standard or Legacy Open will receive a set of five limited-edition promotional token cards featuring some of your favorite StarCityGames.com personalities! This beautiful artwork was produced by our own in-house artist, Kristen Plescow. Check out her other work here.

These limited-edition promotional token cards are not available for sale and will only be available by participating in a StarCityGames.com Standard or Legacy Open starting in 2013. Each Open Series weekend offers players their best opportunity to qualify for an upcoming StarCityGames.com Invitational…and the first StarCityGames.com Open Series featuring the Invitational of 2013 will take place on April 5-7 in Atlanta, GA! As always, over $100,000 will be up for grabs over the course of that weekend, and we’ll be pulling out all the stops to make the event as fun and memorable as possible!

I am continually amazed at the overwhelming volume of positive feedback we receive from players, judges, and game store owners regarding the StarCityGames.com Open Series. It is truly humbling and serves as a regular reminder of just how proud I am to be a part of this community.
